In 1989 Regulation CC implemented the Expedited Funds Availability Act, providing quicker access to funds from deposited checks. In 2018 we saw significant changes related to Presumption of Alteration, and new indemnities regarding Electronically Created Items (ECIs) and Remote Deposit Capture.
